In fact, the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) recently released a preliminary report indicating the U.S. ski industry recorded 59.7 million visits, its second best season ever.

February 2nd is Woodchuck Day, and Woodchucks are Celebrating All Week!
Details: In Vermont a woodchuck is a hearty Vermonter, a Vermont made hard cider, and an animal sometimes referred to as the groundhog. The folks at WDEV Radio Vermont and Woodchuck Draft Cider have been celebrating February 2nd as Woodchuck Day for some years now and Vermont Ski Areas Association is now onboard celebrating this Vermont take on an American holiday – at four ski resorts next week.
Ski Vermont is hoping for six more weeks of winter – as legend goes, it’s signaled when the woodchuck sees his shadow.
