Vermont Ski and Ride Conditions

Publisher's Message

Pile in, time for our annual road trip! We do it, record it, and share all for one reason — no matter how good your own backyard is, it’s good to get out of town every so often and check out the competition. For the previous seven years, we made treks out to BC to go cat-skiing in the Canadian Rockies, but this year we were enticed to head across the pond to the Swiss Alps. We weren’t looking to ski the wide-open alpine piste, or even the vast bowls accessible by their extensive lift systems; rather we were bringing our backcountry skis with all-terrain bindings and skins. In this spring interview, Weinbrecht answers questions about how to improve your bump skiing in spring snow.
